Bench Cushions and Mattresses
Fill Options
The two most popular fills for camper van bench cushions and mattresses are our firm foam or firm foam with a memory foam top layer fills. The firm foam offers great support whilst still being very comfortable, whilst the extra memory foam top layer adds that little bit more comfort and is a top choice for mattress cushions. Both options work very well for seating as well as sleeping on.
For bed and mattress cushions that will be slept on, we recommend a miminum thickness of 8cm. We can offer anything up to 20cm thick in our foam options.
If you're looking to lean towards more eco-friendly options, we offer a latex rubber foam alternative, which is wonderfully soft to sleep on, and helps to regulate body temperature. This is a high end option, so does up the price of projects a fair amount.
We also offer soft, squishy hollowfibre, feather and wool fill options, these can be a little more unruly to sleep on but make for great seating.

Fabrics
We have a wide range of fabrics to choose from in a huge selection of colours and patterns: hard wearing, machine washable options, fabrics with stain resistant treatments or for a more eco-conscious approach, we have a selection of natural fibre fabrics.
We offer a sample service to make sure your camper soft furnishings match up nicely with your van's colour scheme, and so you can get a feel of the fabrics before ordering.

Keeping Cushions in Place
As well as the standard selection of options we offer for bench cushions, such as velcro stitched to the underside of your cushions to keep them firmly in place, all sorts of ties and straps to fit around your van fixtures - we can also offer cushions with fabric joins between two cushions.
Fabric joins (see pics below) are a great solution for pull out mattress cushions that convert from seating to bedding that can be easily stored away and kept in place when you're on the move.
Shaped Cushions
We can make up cushions in any shape or size, for a perfect fit around any van interiors.
If the shapes are made up of straight lines and measureable angles, we can usually work from a drawing. Curves and anything irregular may require a paper template to be sent to us to get the shaping spot on. We can help guide you through the process as necessary.
Blinds and Curtains
To match or complement your bench and bed cushions, we can also offer made to measure blinds and curtains for your camper van project.
Curtains can be made up with a 2.5cm (1") curtain tape - a narrower version of the header tape most traditional curtains in the home are hung with - to fit smaller tracks for tight spaces inside vans. We can also make up tab top or channel top curtains if you wish to hang your curtains from a pole.
These are perfect for bulk head dividers or to add a bit of cosiness and warmth to other windows in the van.
Blinds can come with either eyelets at the top, to hang the blinds from screws inside the van, or Velcro for a less permanent fix.
At the bottom of the blinds, we offer the option of Velcro or a channel for dowel rod.
Dowel rods make rolling up the blinds neater and add a little weight to help the blinds hang better. Please note, that we don't currently provide the dowel rods, but let us know what diameter you have in mind and we can stitch the bottom channels on the blinds to fit.

Straps can be made from sturdy cotton or polyester webbing tape to match the colour of your blinds, and come with metal clasps.
Our blinds come in rectangular shapes as standard, but do get in touch if you've got an odd shape window that needs a bespoke solution.
As well as a wide variety of face fabric options, our custom made curtains and blinds can be made up with a variety of linings. Depending on what vibe you're going for in your capervan - we have poly cotton or cotton lining fabric if you're happy with the morning light waking you up on your trips.
If you require your blinds to provide insulation from the outside, our foam free black out lining works wonders.
The quality woven black yarn fabric provides total darkness, 30-40% sound insulation to help aid sleep, energy saving thermal insulation, 100% anti-UV protection and odor free.
