A thick, luxury bench cushion with a firm foam insert. The bench cushion cover is made with a white, grey and bright yellow cotton fabric in an Emma J shipley design. The pattern on the fabric shows tropical birds, insects and feathers. The bench cushion has a white background and the edges of the foam cushion has piping in yellow velvet upholstery fabric.

A brown leather traditional Chesterfield sofa that has deep buttoning at the back and on the arms and studded arms. The well loved sofa has been given a new lease of life with three replacement sofa seat cushions with thick hollowfibre filling which is high quality and long lasting and will not sag. The sofa cushion covers are made with a hard wearing, machine washable boucle chenille fabric in a natural colour with beige, brown and cream threads. The sofa cushions have zips at the back so the covers can be removed for washing. The replacement sofa cushion covers have piping at the edges and are made to a high standard.

A bright, sunny built in wooden storage window seat nook next to a rocky garden. The wooden window ledge has two large foam day bed cushions on top. The day bed cushion covers are made with a high quality machine washable, stain resistant velvet fabric in a burnt orange colour. The Linwood Moleskin Henna velvet fabric is hard wearing and long lasting. The bench cushions have zips at the back of the covers so the covers can be washed. The bench cushions are made to measure to dimensions sent in by the customer. The day bed cushions have firm foam inside which is supportive and comfortable. The upholstery foam inserts have a layer of dacron and stockinette to protect the covers.

Two 10cm thick firm upholstery foam bench cushions made with 100% wool tartan fabric covers. The bench cushions have box edges and are neatly made. The bench cushion covers have zips at the back so the covers can be taken off the foam. The firm foam has a stockinette wrap. These bench cushions have been made to order in the UK by a small Yorkshire company who ship to all areas of the UK. The 100% wool check design fabric has a tartan pattern in green, khaki, brown and dark red.

Four high quality, long lasting, made to measure bench cushions with covers in a hard wearing linen look woven upholstery fabric. The bench seating cushions are bespoke made for a built in wooden storage seating unit. The banquette cushions have piping at the edges in the same dark grey stain resistant, hard wearing fabric. The foam box edge cushions all have buttons on which have been hand tufted. The custom size bench cushions are mid grey brown in colour and can be wiped clean. The wipeable bench cushions can be kept in place with velcro or straps or ties.

A window seatind area which had been built in with cupboard doors in dark blue wood. On top of the window seat ledge is a set of two made to measure bench cushions which fit perfectly. Using the customer's measurements, these two bench cushions have been made to order using firm upholstery foam with a dacron wrap. The wadding on the foam gives a plump, luxury finish between the hand buttoned tufting. The two window seat cushions both have piped edges and have been made in Yorkshire by a small local family company. The fabric used for the bench cushion coevrs is a hard wearing, stain resistant fabric with a woven, multi tonal look in blue shades. The blue window cushions are complemented with mustard yellow throw cushions with leaf and meadow designs.

Meet the Makers

Sew Versatile was set up by Becky back in 2014 to fulfil her goal of becoming a self employed seamstress. Fast forward a few years, a few hurdles and a pandemic and Sew Versatile is now, in spite of everything, the business she always dreamed it could be.

Everything is hand made by Becky and her recently recruited husband, Vik, in their workspace in the beautiful county of West Yorkshire on a small army of sewing machines.
