How to Place an Order With Us

Love the look of our bench cushions but not sure how the online ordering process might work?
We've put together this handy walk through to hopefully answer any initial questions you might have about the process.
As ever, please do reach out through our contact us page if you have any questions.
What information will I need to provide to get a quote?
The main details we'll need up front will be the dimensions and any shaping of the cushion you'd like made.
Any photos you can provide of the space are very helpful at this point.
Our Shapes and Measuring page offers pointers on measuring different shapes.
If you have ideas on the filling or fabric type / pattern you'd like to use, these details really help with speeding up the quoting process too.
If you'd like an idea of pricing before getting in touch, we have starting prices for our foam bench cushions here.
And for sofa-style cushions here.
Where can I find your fabric and filling options?
We offer a wide range of fabric choices, filling options and finishes for your cushions, as well as methods of keeping your cushions in place.
If you'd like to peruse our fabrics, you can find our standard fabric collections here.
If you're after something specific, such as a velvet, or natural fibre fabric or something pet friendly, you can filter through all the options here.
We can also offer fabrics from a vast range of designers and suppliers, so please let us know if there's something specific you had in mind.
If you already have a fabric picked out, please do send over a link to it when first getting in touch. We're happy to use any new fabric.
Filling options can be found here.
We have a wide range from firm and supportive to soft and slouchy, with natural options as well as hard wearing foam filling.
Our standard finish options can be found here. We have a run down on features such as piping and button tufting. If you've spotted an interesting feature elsewhere you'd like to try for your project, do let us know. Becky's always up for a challenge!
And finally the range of methods of keeping your cushions where you want them are here.
We're more than happy to talk you through the options if you're unsure what would work best for your project.
What's the best way to send my quote details?
If you know what you're after - our Cushion Quote Request Form is the place to be.
If you're still looking to finalise the details or would just like to send an initial enquiry or message, we have a Contact Us page.
For any detailed quote requests or to send PDFs and images, our email address is info@sewversatile.co.uk
What happens after I've sent in the details of my project?
We aim to get an initial response back to you within 24 hours.
Our replies do sometimes end up in spam folders, so if you've not heard back from us it's worth having a peek in there.
This initial reply will outline our current lead time and give some example prices to help you decide if our service is right for you.
We may also ask clarifying questions to help us put an initial price together.
Once you've given us the go ahead for a quote, we may ask questions to double check various details, then we'll get cracking on putting a quote together for you.
As everything we make is entirely bespoke, this can take a couple more days, as we'll be fitting this in between getting sewing done. (Yes it's just Becky and Vik here, no admin person or AI doing our admin for us!)
We'll send out an email with a full quote as soon as we can. This message will contain either a starting price if you're not set on the materials for your project yet, or a firmer price if you've asked for specific fabrics, fills and finishes.
I have a few more questions after my quote, is that OK?
We're here to hand-hold you through the entire process from initial enquiry to the delivery of your project.
Getting the details ironed out before you're ready to order is of top importance to us, so we're very happy to answer as many or as few questions as you may have.
There are no stupid questions!
Do you offer a sample service?
Once you're happy with an initial quote, we offer a free fabric sample service of up to 10 samples to help you get the right fabric.
We highly recommend getting some samples at this stage, as all device screens show colours differently.
Seeing the fabric(s) in the same lighting that the project will be placed in is a great way to check colours and fabric matches.
As we're a small set-up here, we order our samples directly from our various suppliers to you. Depending on the fabrics you'd like to see, you may get a few different envelopes through.
Samples should, on average, take between 2-7 working days to get to you.
We'll check in after a week to make sure everything's arrived OK.
Ok, I'm ready to go ahead with my order, what now?
If you're at the stage where you're happy with all the details discussed so far,
